Dec 30, 2012
On Sunday, December 30th the Dutch VACC is organising a VFR flight along the Dutch coast.
This is an ideal opportunity to explore various the sights the Dutch coastal region has to offer, while enjoying the breathtaking (freeware) NL2000 VFR-scenery.
The route takes you from Midden-Zeeland Airport via the Deltawerken to the Maasvlakte and the world famous port of Rotterdam.
After a small break for a cup of coffee, continue along the coast via the city of Den Haag where the Dutch government is settled. Set heading north and visit oil rig Q8A close to the coast, after which you can continue overhead De Kooy Navy to prepare the arrival for Texel.
The event lasts from 18:30 UTC till 21:00 UTC. The route can be flown in either direction.
