On behalf of one of our anonymous sources, we normally do not do news on accidents, but this one has close ties to simulation.
Words came from Aerosoft this week that the OV-10 Bronco they used as a model for their Bronco X product crashed in the UK this week.
The pilot is badly injured as well as the aircraft ( a labor of love for more than a decade a write-off). As Aerosoft worked real close with the pilot and the crew they seem really shocked about the news.
It’s a good reminder that flying these historic aircraft is not without risk. For now the Bronco X is a fine reminder what a great aircraft it is, but what a sad story. More information can be found via this link.
