Space Simulator

Jul 11, 2012

Simulations come in all many different kinds but since yesterday evening I have been fascinated with a new one, Space Engine.

Basically it allows you to go where no man has gone before and to do so without being bothered by laws of physic. It’s a complex simulation engine and it does eat up your computer resources even more then FSX does but it does use them well.

There are many modes, from a Direct Goto to spaceship mode where you actually have to grapple with gravity and mass. It’s even free and you will find it at http://en.spaceengine.org/. Brilliant stuff.

    Hi Matthijs,

Very nice indeed, but seeing this sim I simply had the urge to attend you to the simulation of Martin Schweiger, Orbiter.
