Airbus is doing pretty good these days. Now the 380 is shipping and the painful delays are dealt with they are ramping up production.
But what is rather surprising is that they are doing is in Mobile, Alabama, and not in France or Germany. They call it a major strategic announcement and that’s pretty much on the money. The USA is after all the home market of Boeing.
The fact the aircraft are assembled in the US, with US people working on them will help them sell the aircraft. But it remains a amazing step!
