Of course the whole idea of a flying car is rather silly and it will never catch on (no matter how you do it, you will end up with a shitty car and a shitty aircraft) but that has never stopped people from trying to invent and reinvent it.
And lo and behold it seems that Terrafugia Inc. seems to have made some giant steps. A production prototype is well on it’s way towards FAA approval after the first official test flights of the Transition, as it is called, have been a success. Of course it flew before, but these test are a big deal.
Check here for their website and by god, let’s hope they do a better flying car then their website, what’s a mess.

What always gets me, is why ppl dream of such things. Have you seen how they drive on the Roads? Do you really want the skies filled with ‘those ‘ people?!
